Personal and Corporate Membership Program Policy

Membership Payment

BCBC membership fees are payable by credit card or any other payment method authorized by the BCBC. They are applicable on a calendar year basis. The fees are updated on our webpage every year by the BCBC board of directors.

The Regular Fee applies from January 1st to December 31st of the current calendar year. Membership ends on December 31st of the current calendar year.

 

Financial information that is collected at the time of purchase shall be handled in accordance with the BCBC’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at the following webpage: www.bcbc-ccbc.org/privacy-policy.

 

Membership Cancellation

Memberships may be cancelled at any time by contacting us at info@bcbc-ccbc.org. Memberships may only be cancelled in writing.

Please note that the BCBC does not issue refunds for the current calendar year. A refund may be issued if cancellation is requested before the beginning of the calendar year for which membership was paid.

Events Policy

Tickets to BCBC events may be purchased online through our website at www.bcbc-ccbc.org. Ticket sales are managed by Stripe.com and other methods of payment authorized by the BCBC. The BCBC is not responsible for any issues arising from ticket sales managed by third parties.

Both electronic and paper copies of tickets will be accepted for entry to BCBC events.

Tickets may be cancelled and refunded up to 10 days before the event. To cancel your attendance and request a refund, please contact the BCBC Executive Director by email at info@bcbc-ccbc.org.

Photographs Policy

When you attend BCBC events, we may take photographs that we will post on our online platforms, including the BCBC website and the BCBC social media accounts. If you would like us to remove a photograph of you from our online platforms, please contact us at info@bcbc-ccbc.org.

 

Email Policy

When you attend BCBC events and consent to provide your contact information, this will include you in the “BCBC’s Contacts Database”, which adds you to the recipients list of an e-newsletter with information on business matters related to Belgium, Canada and the BCBC. You may choose to unsubscribe from this service at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.

 

Social Media Policy

The BCBC is committed to maintaining a social media presence that adheres to the basic guidelines of courtesy, respect, lawfulness, and honest representation and communication. To this end, the BCBC welcomes comments on its social media posts. Discussions about comments posted to the BCBC’s social media posts will be polite and respectful and will not engage in antagonistic behaviour. The BCBC requests that users of these social media platforms do not engage in spam activity and do not go off-topic or use offensive terms or tactics when commenting.

 

The BCBC will always be prepared and willing to substantiate any claims that are made on the Internet and will not engage in knowing dishonesty. If any false or unwanted information is unknowingly posted on the BCBC’s social media platforms, we ask that you contact us immediately at info@bcbc-ccbc.org so that we may rectify the situation.

Languages Policy

The BCBC provides all information in English and in French.
