Dear Partners, Members and Friends of the BCBC,
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes for the holiday season and the upcoming new year.
On behalf of the board of directors and the executive committee, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support and loyalty to our chamber of commerce. Together with the entire team at the Belgian Embassy and the support of the regional economic representatives , we have been able to build a strong and vibrant Belgium Canada business community that is making a significant impact across Canada. I am truly grateful for your dedication and commitment to our shared goals. Looking ahead to 2024, we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the BCBC’s presence from Ontario to Quebec. This expansion will create a bridge between Toronto and Montreal, connecting our business community in both provinces. We believe this will open up new opportunities for collaboration and growth for all our partners and members.
I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce Auli Rasanen, who will be joining us as the new Executive Director of BCBC starting in the new year. Auli brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and I am confident that she will contribute greatly to the success of our chamber.
The board of directors and the executive committee of the BCBC join me to wish you a fantastic year ahead. May it be filled with harmony, happiness, and the realization of your desired projects and achievements.
We are eagerly looking forward to celebrating the new year with all of you at our upcoming events on January 23 in Toronto and January 25 in Montreal. It will be a great opportunity to connect, network, and toast to our collective success.
In this new year, let us strive for a world of peace and prosperity, where stability and harmony prevail. May our collective efforts contribute to a better future for all. Once again, thank you for your unwavering support.
Warm regards,
Xavier Van Overmeire, President.
